LeonaLeona Louise (born on the 3rd April in 1986) is an American musician, singer actor, songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in the London Borough of Islington, she attended her school at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. Lewis was an international star in the X Factor's third series in 2006. Also, she was awarded the PS1 Million recording contract from Syco Music. The winning single, which was an original cover to Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This", peaked at the top spot for several weeks on the UK Singles Chart and broke records in the world by achieving the milestone of 50,000 downloads in just thirty minutes. Clive Davis, Lewis's American record label J Records signed Lewis a 5-album deal in February. Lewis maintained her popularity by releasing Spirit, her first studio album. It sold 10x platinum recognized in the UK. Spirit became one of the top four albums sold in 2000, as well as one of the top-selling UK albums. Spirit was, according to Official Charts Company is the greatest-selling debut album by a female musician. The first single, "Bleeding Love", went on to chart for seven weeks in the UK. top in UK and was the most-sold single in 2007. It was also the most-sold track in the US the same year. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award subsequent year. Echo was her sophomore studio album. Lewis also composed the hit song "I I See You" in the movie Avatar. Lewis also released "Collide" in the year 2011 a joint effort along with Swedish DJ Avicii. In addition, she dropped Hurt, the EP, her first extended performance. Her third studio album, Glassheart (2012), was a departure in direction for Lewis taking inspiration from dubstep and electronic music. The Glassheart Tour was in the middle of 2013, when she began to record material for her debut Christmas album. In the following year, Christmas with Love with Love, featuring the title track "One more sleep", reached number three across the UK. This chart entry led to Lewis her the only British single female singer to achieve the top 5 spots, having eight singles. Also, she broke the record of Olivia Newton-John's seven.
